AIBA has set up a new ruling which says that not all boxers have the right to compet for the remaining places, only boxers who have participated in World Series of Boxing, AIBA Pro Boxing.
New countries are said to participate in the tournament namely; Thailand and Cameroon. Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam will enter the qualifier for Cameroon. Amnat Ruenroeng also try his luck and qualify for Rio for Thailand.
Both boxers o finish in the top three at this tournament in Venezuela to win an Olympic place.
